An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Welder / Fabricator to join a well-established company specialising in bespoke architectural and ornamental metalwork crafting high-quality custom metal structures.
As a Welder / Fabricator, you will be responsible for producing custom metal components with attention to detail and craftsmanship.
This full-time permanent role offers a starting salary of £13 per hour plus commission and benefits.
You Will Be Responsible For
- Fabricating bespoke staircases, balustrades, gates, railings, balconies, and other architectural metalwork.
- Performing MIG welding on steel and other metals.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and workshop sketches.
- Cutting, drilling, grinding, assembling, and finishing components to high standards.
- Operating workshop machinery safely and efficiently.
- Collaborating with other fabricators and supporting site installation teams when required.
- Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment.
What We Are Looking For:
- Previously worked as a Welder, Fabricator, MIG Welder, Welder Fabricator, Fabricator Welder, Steel Fabricator, Welding Technician or in a similar role.
- Proven welding and fabrication experience
- Strong MIG welding ability
- Confident in interpreting and working from technical drawings.
- Ability to fabricate bespoke components to a high standard.
Have experience in:
- Ornamental metalwork (Staircases, Balustrades, Railings, Gates, Architectural metalwork)
- Structural work (Steel frames, Structural steel fabrication, Load-bearing metal structures)
