Functional Assessor (WCA)

Location: Lisburn

Hours: 37.5hrs per week (9AM-5PM, flexible start time)

Salary: Full time Basic starting salary of £39,500 increasing to £40,500 on achieving approval with 10% Monthly performance bonus, OTE £44,550

Nurses, Physios, Paramedics, and OTs: this is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct paper-based, face-to-face, video, or telephone assessments - 90 mins per case (including time for report writing).


• Write clear, evidence-based reports (400-500 words), 5 per day + optional overtime.


• Provide detailed justifications to support NIDFC decisions.

Essential Criteria:

• One year's post-registration experience as a Nurse (RMN, RNLD, RGN), Occupational therapist, Physiotherapist or Paramedic.


• Fully registered with NMC or HCPC


• Based in Northern Ireland
