About the role
As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly. This is a hands-on position where no two days are the same—you will be involved in everything from goods-in to dispatch, ensuring customers receive their orders accurately and on time.
What you will be doing
- Receiving and unloading deliveries safely
- Checking goods against delivery notes and reporting discrepancies
- Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders
- Updating stock and shipment data using warehouse systems
- Moving and organising stock within the warehouse
- Supporting stock checks and inventory control
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient working environment
- Following health & safety procedures at all times
What we are looking for
- Previous warehouse experience (preferred but not essential)
- Good level of physical fitness (manual handling involved)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable, adaptable, and able to manage changing priorities
- Basic IT skills (Microsoft packages)
- Counterbalance forklift licence (desirable, not essential)
- Good understanding of health & safety practices
