THE ROLE



Due to an upturn in work we have immediate requirements for a team of Warehouse Operatives/Cage Handlers to join our client. If you like being active in a job role and have independence to get on with the job at hand, this is the role for you! Duties and tasks will include:




  • You must be available to work a 5am start and be flexible to work all other shifts

  • You will be working in a cold room food storage environment

  • You will be loading/unloading cages of various food products from wagons

  • Follow company processes and procedures at all times keeping in line with current Health & Safety policies

  • Assist with maintenance of all warehouse areas and report damage/accidents

  • Carry out any other reasonable task requested by your warehouse manager or team leader in their absence





THE PERSON



A good attitude and high level of stamina is key for this role as well as the following specifications:




  • You must be available to work a 5am start and be flexible to work all other shifts

  • You need a flexible approach with the willingness to commence work at short notice as business demand often changes

  • This is a highly manual dexterous role and you will demonstrate these skills

  • You will have a proactive and hardworking attitude as you will hit the ground running

  • You can demonstrate good listening skills and be able to follow instructions

  • It would be advantageous if you have your own transport or live in the local area

  • You will need to be physically fit to do this role
