About the Role:

As a Warehouse and Site Operative / Technician, you will be central to our day-to-day operations. This role will give you great variety and development if you are looking to join the industry.

You will ensure seamless preparation, maintenance, and return of equipment. You will be working across our warehouse and various event locations, providing on-site technical support and ensuring that all our gear—whether generators, vehicles, or electrical distribution systems—runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be a team player in our operations team, working closely to support the logistics and planning. You will directly report into the Managing Director. Working 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday 8:30 - 17:00, with flexibility for evenings and weekends to meet the demands of the industry).

Some other duties include:

  • Operate a forklift to move equipment within the warehouse and on-site.
  • Provide technical support during events, ensuring smooth operation.
  • Deliver and collect generators and other equipment to and from event sites.
  • Service, maintain, and clean generators, vehicles, and forklifts.
  • Clean, test, and calibrate equipment to ensure it is event ready.
  • Collaborate with the Operations team on the logistics and planning of hires.
  • Assist with annual stock take.
  • Maintain the warehouse, yard, and car park to the highest standards to ensure a professional appearance.
  • Build and maintain excellent customer relationships. Provide technical telephone support for clients.

About You:

Full training will be provided for the role including ADR, PM28, First Aid, Basic Health and Safety, Manual Handling and Forklift. A full driving licence is required and the ability to tow. Knowledge of the events industry and temporary power will be an added advantage. You will possess strong customer service and communication skills. You will demonstrate competent IT skills, including familiarity with hire systems, and be self-motivated and reliable, capable of working both independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills are essential.
