Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients and internal teams regarding


• complex VAT queries


• Provide expert advice on international transactions, group structures, and cross-border trade implications.


• Draft and review detailed VAT advisory notes and technical reports for a diverse portfolio of clients.


• Liaise directly with HMRC to manage client VAT inspections and formal enquiries.


• Lead on VAT due diligence and structuring projects for high-value corporate transactions.

As a VAT Specialist you will:

• Manage a diverse portfolio of VAT clients across sectors like property and financial services.


• Support the VAT Partner on high-level consultancy projects and business development.


• Work closely with the compliance team to identify risks and ensure technical accuracy in complex filings.


• Assist with year-end VAT audit queries for large corporate groups.


• Take an active role in identifying new service opportunities within the existing client base
