VAT Manager responsibilities include:

• Overseeing a portfolio of complex clients, managing VAT, indirect tax, and/or customs compliance and advisory work


• Leading and coordinating assignments, drawing on input from specialist teams as needed


• Reviewing team outputs, ensuring quality, accuracy, and proper documentation


• Responding to client queries on VAT and/or customs issues, resolving them or escalating to Director/Partners


• Preparing budgets and fee proposals; monitor and manage fee recovery


• Acting as a key liaison for clients and collaborating with colleagues across departments to deliver excellent service


• Supporting business development by identifying opportunities with new and existing clients

As a VAT Manager, you will be/have:

• ACCA or ATT/CTA qualified


• Over 5 Years’ Indirect Tax experience


• Managing a portfolio of VAT clients responsible for the delivery of all aspects of assignments


• Experience with VAT advisory


• Staff management experience
