The opportunity
Hope Education Project UK is a newly registered charity supporting education and anti-trafficking programmes in Northern Ghana. We work with girls, young women, and children who are at greatest risk of exploitation, gender-based violence, and human trafficking.
We are building our trustee board and looking for a Treasurer to join us at a critical early stage. We are looking for a qualified or part-qualified accountant, or an experienced finance professional, who is motivated by social justice and wants to use their skills for meaningful impact.
You will bring:
A formal accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, AAT) is helpful but not essential. What matters most is sound financial judgement, integrity, and a genuine belief in what we are trying to build.
What difference will you make?
A strong Treasurer is foundational to a credible, fundable charity. Your contribution will directly enable Hope Education Project UK to:
At this stage of our development, the right Treasurer is not just managing accounts — they are helping to build a resilient, trustworthy organisation.
