Transport Planner

Transport Planner Night Shift – 4 on 4 off

Co. Antrim – Ballymena

Salary up to £38,000

We are happy to be working with a large transport company with over 370 vehicles who are seeking a Transport Panner to help with co-ordination.

Role:

• Work with colleagues to manage and oversee the local nightshift transport operation in Northern Ireland


• Assign and direct drivers in a timely and efficient manner to meet customer requirements.


• Monitor and track UK deliveries and collections overnight


• Respond promptly to any operational issues that arise and take corrective action to maintain service levels


• Liaise with drivers, sub-contractors, and customers to ensure high standards of customer service are consistently maintained


• Other adhoc duties

Criteria:

• +2 years’ experience in the transport industry planning


• Working knowledge of customs processes


• A sound knowledge of drivers’ hours regulations


• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
