Trainee Laundry Engineer
Site based in Upton Park
40 Hours per week
Starting salary of £25,000.00 rising to £27,000.00 after a satisfactory three month probationary period
Our client is looking for an individual who thrives on having a hands-on approach and is looking for a role where problem solving, and sustainable solutions are a key part of their responsibility.
They would welcome candidates who have experience in the electrical or mechanical engineering sector who can work on their own initiative in responding to the daily production needs of the laundry as well as maintaining plant and equipment through a planned maintenance approach.
You will work as part of a team of three, with a requirement for some weekend working and the flexibility to work a 6am - 2pm and 8am - 4pm as per a planned rota.

Are you the right person for the job?
- Previous experience in the laundry industry would be beneficial but is not a prerequisite.

What will your role as a Laundry Engineer look like?
- To support and work with the laundry management team to maximise production output.
- To respond to and resolve any engineering related issues with the laundry.
- To maintain an already established PPM system.
- To recommend and implement solutions that enhance the engineering function.
