Trainee Accountant / Accounts Associate

We are working with a successful and expanding Accountancy Practice with offices in Carrickfergus and Holywood to recruit for their new Trainee Chartered Accountant – an exceptional opportunity offering ACCA support as well as excellent training and professional development opportunities.

Eager to speak to speak with recently graduate Accounts student (or similar) or those with some practice experience who are seeking to move into a Chartered pathway.

Joining a supportive team you will be developing experience across;

• Assist in preparing year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships


• Assist in corporation tax computations and assist manager with personal tax returns


• Prepare VAT returns for manager, including reviewing client records for accuracy


• Assist with management accounts and bookkeeping using Xero, QuickBooks, or similar platforms


• Perform bank reconciliations


• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

What we are looking for…

• Degree educated in a relevant discipline (or with considerable practice experience)


• Previous Practice experience is desired but not essential


• Willingness to learn and develop professionally
