BlackFox Solutions are delighted to be working alongside a well-established and growing accountancy practice based in Dungannon, providing a wide range of services to clients across various sectors, including SMEs, sole traders, and partnerships. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a motivated and ambitious Trainee Accountant to join their team.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to begin or develop a career in accountancy. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience while working towards a professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and management accounts


• Supporting senior staff with audits and client assignments


• Preparing VAT returns and assisting with tax computations


• Maintaining accurate financial records and bookkeeping


• Liaising with clients to gather information and resolve queries


• General administrative duties as required

Requirements

• Experience working in an Accountancy Practice. 


• Strong academic background (minimum A-levels or equivalent; degree desirable)


• Good numerical and analytical skills


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general IT systems


• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• A willingness to learn and commit to professional exams
