Trailer Technician / Fitters (Skilled and Trainees with relevant mechanical experience) SPR Trailer Services is a trusted, full-service trailer specialist offering comprehensive maintenance, servicing, MOTs, quay checks, and 24/7 roadside repairs. We’re looking for both skilled and trainee Trailer Technicians / Fitters to join our established and respected team based in Immingham, North East Lincolnshire.

• Competitive Salary: Skilled fitters can expect a base salary of around £43,000 per annum depending on experience, with realistic potential annual earnings of £47,000+

As a Trailer Technician / Fitter, you’ll be responsible for:

• Carrying out on-site servicing and breakdown cover as required
• Preparing trailers in the workshop for MOT inspections
• Attending roadside breakdowns and completing repairs/servicing at customer sites
• Performing trailer checks and repairs at the quayside
• Following company procedures, safe systems of work, and Health & Safety regulations
• Working efficiently, responsibly, and to a high standard
• A C+E licence is advantageous (training can be provided if required)

About You

As a Trailer Technician / Fitter you’ll bring relevant mechanical or engineering skills and ideally have experience in a similar role. Reliability, strong time management, and the ability to perform under pressure are essential. A full driving licence is required.

We also welcome trainees or those looking to develop their mechanical skills. With the right attitude and technical foundation, we’ll provide the training you need to succeed.
Trainee Fitters can expect to earn between £34,000 – £38,000 per year, depending on experience and overtime.
