Job Summary:

We are currently seeking an experienced and certified Traffic Marshal to manage vehicle and pedestrian traffic on a busy construction site in Crawley. This is a key role in maintaining safety and efficiency on-site, particularly around access routes and delivery points.

Key Responsibilities:

  Direct and manage vehicle movement in and around the site

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure the safe entry and exit of delivery vehicles

  
  


• 
  

  Guide vehicles using hand signals and radios where necessary

  
  


• 
  

  Monitor pedestrian access and maintain clear walkways

  
  


• 
  

  Communicate effectively with site staff and drivers to avoid congestion

  
  


• 
  

  Carry out regular safety checks and report hazards

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with general site duties when not directing traffic

  
  

Requirements:

• 
  

  Valid Traffic Marshal / Vehicle Banksman certification

  
  


• 
  

  Valid CSCS card (essential)

  
  


• 
  

  Previous experience in a similar role (preferred)

  
  


• 
  

  Good communication and observational skills

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to remain alert and calm under pressure
