Job Title: Telehandler Operator

Location: Crawley, West Sussex

Job Type: Contract

Hourly Rate: £18–£20 per hour (dependent on experience and certifications)

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled and certified Telehandler Operator for ongoing construction and site work in the Crawley area. The ideal candidate will have CPCS or NPORS certification, a solid understanding of site safety, and experience operating telescopic handlers in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  Operate a telescopic handler to move and place materials on-site safely and efficiently

  
  


• 
  

  Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with general site duties when not operating machinery

  
  


• 
  

  Conduct daily checks and basic maintenance of the telehandler

  
  


• 
  

  Work closely with site management, tradespeople, and logistics teams

  
  


• 
  

  Comply with health and safety regulations and site-specific procedures

  
  

Requirements:

• 
  

  Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket (with CSCS logo if using NPORS)

  
  


• 
  

  Previous experience working on construction sites or similar environments

  
  


• 
  

  Good awareness of health and safety procedures

  
  


• 
  

  Strong teamwork and communication skills

  Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work

  
  

Preferred:

  Own transport (site may not be easily accessible by public transport)

  Additional site certifications (e.g. Manual Handling, Banksman, First Aid)
