Technical / Project Engineer

Technical / Project Engineer, Cookstown

Our client specialises in the design, manufacture and supply of systems for the construction industry and is seeking to appoint their new Technical/Project Engineer to join them on a permanent basis in Cookstown.

Reporting into Management and working within a team you will be;

• Liaising with customers to develop understanding of their product needs


• Generate consistent quotations and manage for relevant high-rise projects


• Produce detailed production drawings, providing efficient design for the manufacturer within the building requirements

• Provide Technical Support to Engineers i.e. design non-standard products that facilitate best practice by design yet are not over designed as to prevent the order being secured


• Work closely with our Production team to arrange orders and call-offs in conjunction with the customer’s schedule

• Facilitate and present CPDs as and when required, either via teams or in person within an office environment

What we are looking for…

• Ideally educated to 3rd level in an engineering / construction or technical discipline


• 1 + years’ experience in a similar role


• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written


• Demonstrable experience in a forward-facing customer service/negotiating position
