Team Leader/ Supervisor

An established, family-owned manufacturing organisation with a strong presence across the UK and Europe is seeking a Team Leader / Supervisor to join its production operations looking after a small team of 3 people. The business operates within a technically driven, quality-focused environment and has built a reputation for delivering high-performance industrial solutions to a diverse customer base. Continued growth and investment have created the need for an experienced leader to support shop floor operations.

The Role

The Team Leader / Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing night production activities, ensuring that output, quality, and safety standards are consistently achieved.

This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage teams, coordinate workflow, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising and leading a production team to achieve daily targets and KPIs


• Ensuring adherence to quality standards and operational procedures


• Promoting and maintaining a strong health & safety culture


• Coordinating resources, materials, and workflow across shifts


• Supporting training, development, and performance management of team members


• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in a Team Leader / Supervisor role within manufacturing or production


• Strong people management and leadership capability


• Experience working in a structured, quality-led environment


• Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methods is advantageous


• Effective communicator with a proactive and organised approach
