General Teaching Assistant / Wraparound GTA

Due to the increasing number of pupils in our client’s school, they are seeking to recruit a Teaching Assistant for 32.5 hours a week to support the needs of pupils. The post also requires 8 hours across 4 days in their After-School Club.

Our client runs a friendly school, with enthusiastic pupils and dedicated staff team.

The successful candidates will need to have:

  • The skills and confidence to work with children in early years and Key Stage 1.
  • A proven track record in effectively supporting individuals within a primary school setting.
  • The ability to establish excellent relationships with children and promote aspirational achievement for all groups of learners.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Believe in the inclusion for all and is able to implement strategies to support children with SEND.

All contracts are term-time only (TTO) contracts plus the 5 staff training days each year.

This is initially a fixed term contract until August 2026.
