With the start of a new academic year, the SLT are now looking for an ambitious Teaching Assistant to join the team. The school is a growing community, and they are very proud of the good reputation they have within the local and wider communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement structured learning activities/ teaching programmes.


• Support pupils in accessing learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher.


• Covering the class when required.


• Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.


• Provide one-on-one support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) when required.


• Provide feedback to pupils in relation to their progress and achievement.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.


• Experience: Previous experience working within a classroom as a Teaching Assistant.


• Knowledge: Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and its implementation.


• Desirable: Experience working with children in a school setting.
