Are you a creative professional with a flair for design and a passion for education?
Our client is seeking a dynamic Teacher of Graphic Art to inspire the next generation of designers, illustrators, and creative thinkers! Inspire and nurture the artistic talents of students through engaging and interactive lessons.
What You Bring:
- A degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Teaching experience (or a desire to develop teaching skills) and a genuine passion for shaping young minds.
- Expertise in modern design tools and techniques, with the ability to guide students through projects from conception to completion.
- Enthusiasm for project-based learning and real-world applications of design.
The curriculum follows these pathways
- BTEC Creative media practice
- A Level Edexcel graphics & Photography
- GCSE Edexcel graphics & Photography
The programmes used are
- Illustrator
- Photoshop and InDesign are the main software they use
- Google Drive they use for lesson delivery and resources

Essential Criteria
Education:
- Qualified Teacher Status
- First Degree or equivalent
Experience:
- Ability to exemplify Teaching Standards and a record of consistently Good or Outstanding teaching.
- Knowledge of the strategies that will secure success in the development of students’ academic and employability skills.
- Understanding of strategies for raising performance and using monitoring and evaluation structures to allow rigorous review of students’ work and progress.
- Understanding of effective approaches to behaviour for learning and classroom management.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences.
- Strong team working skills and the ability to work effectively with people at all levels.
- Strong organisation and planning skills with the ability to manage demands and prioritise effectively.
- Knowledge of design and creation processes
