Tax Manager responsibilities

• Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of clients, acting as the primary point of contact for complex tax advisory and compliance queries.


• Deliver innovative tax solutions for OMBs, covering Income Tax, Corporation Tax, CGT, and IHT.


• Supervise and mentor junior staff, ensuring high standards of technical accuracy and professional development within the Halesworth team.


• Support business development initiatives and cross-selling services to optimize the financial success of the client base.

As the successful candidate you will

• Be CTA Qualified or possess equivalent significant experience within a professional tax environment.


• Demonstrate extensive practical experience with OMB tax issues, including corporate and personal tax planning.


• Have a proven track record of managing client relationships and identifying creative solutions to complex technical issues.


• Exhibit a "can-do" approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage work-in-progress and billing targets effectively.
