About our client Our client is a fast-growing Top 50 firm with offices across London, Essex, and Kent. They seek individuals who can build strong relationships, viewing this as imperative for the development of future Partners.

Tax Manager responsibilities

•    Managing a large portfolio of complex tax clients, overseeing the full compliance cycle and ensuring high-quality submissions to HMRC.

•    Leading and mentoring junior staff, providing internal tax training and acting as an example of technical excellence and integrity.

•    Identifying and pursuing high-value advisory opportunities and ad-hoc projects for individuals, OMBs, and large corporate groups.

•    Collaborating across office locations to improve compliance processes and ensure the firm remains at the cutting edge of tax technology.

As the successful candidate you will

•    Be CTA qualified (preferred) with strong tax technical knowledge and proven experience managing a varied tax portfolio.

•    Demonstrate a commercial mindset with the ability to spot planning opportunities and lead business development initiatives.

•    Possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to develop staff through clear and constructive feedback.

•    Have a track record of working autonomously and building strong relationships with clients and external stakeholders.
