About the Role: We are looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team and provide essential nighttime support in 2 homes in Fareham & Gosport.
Shift Patterns is 8pm/9pm or 10pm - 7am
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with personal needs, medication administration, and other tasks throughout the night.
- Ensuring safety and comfort by conducting regular checks and addressing any concerns.
- Maintaining accurate records of observations, incidents, and interactions.
- Working with daytime support staff, healthcare professionals, and family members to ensure continuity of support.
- Offering comfort, reassurance, and companionship to create a supportive nighttime atmosphere.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Compassionate and support nature.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Training and Induction: We provide a comprehensive induction and training program, including support to obtain the Care Certificate. While primarily working nights, you may be required to workday shifts during your induction and training periods.
