Support Workers – Full & Part-Time Opportunities
Are you someone who values honesty, and takes pride in making a difference? At Dimensions, we support people with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs and we're looking for new team members in Lincoln who share our passion for person-centred support.
We have several opportunities available in Lincoln, with both full-time and part-time roles. You’ll be matched to one of our two supported living homes during the recruitment process, ensuring the best fit for both you and the people we support.
In one home, you could be supporting three gentlemen and one woman who are full of energy, love socialising, and enjoy a busy, varied lifestyle. In another, you might be working with two men and one woman who prefer a slightly quieter pace but still enjoy everything from gardening and cinema trips to meals out and spending time with family.
What unites all the people we support is their passion for living life to the fullest, whether that’s going swimming, enjoying music and crafts, planning holidays, or simply catching up with loved ones. Every day is different, and your support helps make those moments happen.
This role involves helping with day-to-day routines including personal care (mostly minimal and observational), meal preparation, medication, and light housekeeping. More than that, you’ll be someone who listens, encourages, and supports each person to grow in confidence and independence.
Shifts are varied and are worked across a rota that includes earlies, lates, long days, and occasional waking nights. You’ll also work alternate weekends.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be organised, compassionate, and willing to take the lead when needed. A full UK manual driving licence is essential, as supporting people to get out into the community is a big part of the job. If you have your own car and business insurance, that’s a bonus but not required.
