Shifts - long days (8am–9pm) and alternative weekends.
Are you someone who loves being out and about, enjoys helping others live life to the fullest, and doesn’t mind getting stuck in? We’re looking for a resilient, forward-thinking support worker to join our team and support a fun, lively 57-year-old woman in her home.
She lives with two other ladies in a supported living home, but this role is all about 1:1 support, you’ll be her go-to person for daily support, outings, and everything in between. While you’ll have other staff around at the house, you’ll often be working solo when out, so confidence and independence are key.
She loves being out and making the most of every day. Think bike nights, monster truck rallies, cinema trips, eating out, and sensory play. She loves loud events and is always up for trying something new. She even has her own car, so you’ll need a manual driving licence.
You’ll be supporting with personal care, meal prep, feeding, and using hoists and wheelchairs (we will train you). We’re not looking for someone perfect, we’re looking for someone genuine. Someone who’s calm under pressure, full of ideas, and ready to help someone live a life that’s full and fun. You’ll need to be organised, kind, and not afraid to take the lead when needed.
If you’re ready to be part of this team, where no two days are the same and your work truly matters, we’d love to hear from you.
