Supplier Quality Engineer

About the Role:
Are you passionate about quality and precision in manufacturing? Our client is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to help ensure our suppliers meet world-class standards. You’ll play a key part in auditing and supporting suppliers, reviewing technical documentation, and driving continuous improvement in product quality and performance.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead supplier audits and qualifications
• Work with suppliers to fix issues and improve quality
• Review technical documents (e.g. weld procedures, inspection reports)
• Monitor supplier performance and keep quality records
• Support product launches with quality checks and validation
• Promote best practices in lean manufacturing and quality control

Your skills and experience:

• Proven experience in Supplier Quality or Quality Engineering role
• Understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 3834, and Pressure Equipment Directive (PED)
• Knowledge of welding, fabrication, CNC machining, and inspection methods
• Must have worked with suppliers 
• Confident to travel UK (up to 60%) + mainland Europe 
• A full UK Driving Licence 
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, or 8D
