Are you a proven leader in property maintenance, ready to take charge of a skilled trades team and ensure top-quality repairs for social housing residents? If you thrive on managing projects, signing off work, and driving efficiency, we want to hear from you!

We're looking for a dynamic Day-to-Day Repairs Supervisor to oversee essential maintenance works across our social housing properties in the North West London area. This is a hands-on supervisory role where you'll be instrumental in ensuring our residents' homes are safe, well-maintained, and comfortable.

What You'll Be Doing:

As our Day-to-Day Repairs Supervisor, you'll be the critical link between our residents' needs and the delivery of high-quality maintenance. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Team Leadership: Directly manage and motivate a team of skilled tradespeople (e.g., plumbers, electricians, carpenters, multi-traders) carrying out day-to-day repairs.

  • Work Allocation & Scheduling: Efficiently plan, allocate, and schedule daily repair tasks, ensuring resources are optimized and deadlines are met.

  • Quality Assurance & Sign-Off: Conduct regular on-site inspections of ongoing and completed works, ensuring all repairs meet required quality standards, specifications, and regulatory compliance. You'll be responsible for formally signing off work upon satisfactory completion.

  • Problem Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve issues that arise during repairs, working collaboratively with your team and other stakeholders.

  • Resident Liaison: Act as a key point of contact for residents regarding repair progress, addressing any concerns with a professional and empathetic approach.

  • Resource Management: Monitor materials usage and ensure your team has the necessary tools and equipment.

  • Health & Safety: Champion and enforce robust health and safety practices on all sites.

  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of work progress, completions, and team performance.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven Supervisory Experience: A strong background in supervising teams within property maintenance or social housing repairs.

  • Trade Knowledge: Solid understanding of various building trades involved in day-to-day repairs.

  • Quality Driven: A meticulous approach to quality control and the ability to confidently sign off completed work.

  • Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with trades, residents, and management.

  • Organised & Proactive: Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and anticipate challenges.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: A practical and solutions-focused mindset.

  • Driving Licence: A full, clean UK driving licence is essential for travelling across properties in North West London.

Why Join Us?

  • Great Pay: Earn a competitive £27 per hour for your expertise and leadership.

  • Make a Difference: Directly contribute to improving the homes and lives of social housing residents.

  • Leadership Opportunity: Take ownership of your team's performance and the quality of repairs.

  • Dynamic Work: Enjoy a varied role covering properties across the North West London area.
