Job Title: Subcontract Gas Breakdown Engineer 

Location: Brighton/RH

Day Rate: £250 a day

Contract Type: Private Customers

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5.30pm

About the Role

Skilled Careers have a fantastic opportunity for a GAS Service AND Breakdown engineer, working with private housing customers which of course would be suited, but is not limited to engineers with a private customer and contract background.

As a Domestic Breakdown Engineer you will help deliver between BN & RH Postcoodes and will be carrying out repairs on social housing or private housing properties. Engineers must be able to complete the breakdown from diagnosing to fitting relevant parts.

Engineers will be required to:

• Carry out Safety Checks and Gas Boiler Services


• Diagnose faults in Boilers


• Repair and part fit Boilers


• Provide effective customer service

Engineers must provide:

• ACS Qualifications – Cookers and fires essential


• A full driving licence AND Van


• Right to work in the UK


• Own tools


• A DBS check


• FGA calibration certificate


• Minimum £2Million Public Liability


• Gas Safe Registered
