SQL Server DBA (SC Cleared)

London (Hybrid)

6 Month Contract

to £350/day-£400/day (Inside IR35)

SQL Server DBA needed with active SC Security Clearance, SQL Server databases.

6 Month Contract based in Central London (Hybrid). Start ASAP in March 2026.

Hybrid Working - 2 days/week remote (WFH), and 3 days/week working on-site from the London office.

A chance to work with a leading global IT and Digital transformation business specialising in Government projects:

• Experienced SQL Server DBA or similar role, Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO)


• Must have in-depth experienced, Manage SQL Server databases, Configure and maintain database servers and processes, Backups, restores and recovery models.


• High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server and experience with Windows server, including Active Directory


• Monitor system’s health and performance, including ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and security


• Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time and Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes


• Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement


• Provide 24×7 support for critical production systems


• Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours


• MCTS, MCITP, and/or MVP certifications a plus


• Banking / Financial Services domain experience preferred.


• Must hold active SC Security Clearance used on a project within the past 12 Months.
