A well-established main contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of high-quality construction projects across Northern Ireland. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for managing site operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders to achieve exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day site operations, including subcontractor supervision and coordination
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Monitor progress against project schedules, identifying and resolving delays or issues
- Liaise with clients, design teams, and internal departments to maintain effective communication
- Oversee quality control to ensure workmanship meets company and client standards
- Manage materials, plant, and labour resources efficiently
- Prepare site reports and attend project meetings as required
- Drive a positive safety culture on site
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry (commercial, residential, or civil works)
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, H&S legislation, and quality standards
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Proficient in MS Office and site management software (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence (company vehicle provided)
