Site Manager

Job Title: Site Manager 

Start Date: July 25

Location: Chatham 

Day Rate: £250 - £270per day depending on experience 

Client: A regional contractor who have an excellent reputation in the local region who specialise in education, care homes, heritage and commercial builds 

Project: My client are seeking a Site Manager with Groundworks experience to oversee the groundworks package of a new build care home project. Works will include, piling, safety inspections, stock piling into segregated areas and identifying areas where spoil has originated from 

Responsibilities:

• Site Manager reporting into a Project Manager 


• Management and coordination of Labour


• Sequencing Subcontractors 


• Site safety which will include but not be limited to running daily inductions for Labour and Subcontractors 


• Management and coordination of deliveries 


• Procurement of materials and plant 


• Tool box talks and inductions 


• Site inspections 


• Arranging call offs for testing 

The Successful candidate will have:

• Proven experience in similar role (Managing groundworks package) 


• Excellent organisational and communication skills.


• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.


• Relevant qualification in construction management or related field.


• CSCS card & SMSTS & First Aid.


• Recent workplace references.
