Day Rate: £250 - £270per day depending on experience 

Client: A specialist contractor with an excellent reputation nationally are looking for a Site Manager to join them on a temporary basis on a new build steel frame industrial scheme 

Project: My client are seeking a Site Manager to assist on the construction of a new build steel frame industrial building. The project will also include internal fit out, M&E installation, mezzanine flooring and decoration. 

Responsibilities:

• Site Manager reporting into a Project Manager 


• Management and coordination of Labour


• Sequencing Subcontractors 


• Site safety which will include but not be limited to running daily inductions for Labour and Subcontractors 


• Management and coordination of deliveries 


• Procurement of materials and plant 


• Tool box talks and inductions 


• Site inspections 

The Successful candidate will have:

• Proven experience in similar role 


• Excellent organisational and communication skills.


• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.


• Relevant qualification in construction management or related field.


• CSCS card & SMSTS & First Aid.


• Recent workplace references.
