Skilled Careers are recruiting for a Site Manager for a housing developer in Cambridge 



The Role:

As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the daily operations on site, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, to budget, and to our high standards of quality. This is a leadership role requiring strong management, problem-solving, and communication skills.



Key Responsibilities:





  • Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities




  • Lead site teams and subcontractors to deliver homes in line with programme




  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations




  • Monitor and maintain build quality throughout each stage of the project




  • Manage site logistics, scheduling, and material deliveries




  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and consultants as required




  • Complete all site paperwork and reporting accurately





Requirements:





  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within residential construction (volume or bespoke housing)




  • Valid SMSTS, CSCS (black card preferred), and First Aid qualifications




  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and decision-making abilities




  • Strong knowledge of building regulations and NHBC standards




  • Ability to manage multiple trades and tight deadlines with confidence




  • Full UK driving licence
