We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Site Engineer to join a leading civil engineering contractor on a new build housing development in Middlesbrough for 4 months.
Key Responsibilities
Setting out for roads, drainage, foundations, and infrastructure works
Supervising and supporting groundworks and civil engineering packages
Ensuring works are delivered to specification and programme
Carrying out QA checks, maintaining site records, and producing as-built drawings
Liaising with subcontractors, local authorities, and site management
Essential Requirements
Demonstrable experience as a Site Engineer on residential or housing development projects
Strong knowledge and delivery experience of Section 278 works
CSCS card and relevant engineering qualifications
Proficiency with Field View
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Remuneration
£330 per day (Outside IR35)
