Service Manager – Holiday Support & Improvement Lead
We are looking for a Service Manager – Holiday Support & Improvement Lead to join the team who is inspired by our ethos and is excited to bring their knowledge and experience.
This is an exciting time to join The Yard and play a key role in delivering and improving our specialist services for children and young people with additional support needs.
Position: Service Manager – Holiday Support & Improvement Lead
Location: Edinburgh-based, with possibility of some home working
Salary: £32,500 per annum (full-time equivalent £40,000)
Hours: Part time (30 hours per week – must be available to work during school holidays)
Contract: Permanent
Closing Date: 09:00am, Monday 8th September
Interview Dates: Tuesday 16th and Wednesday 17th September
The Role
You will manage our specialised Holiday Support service for children with complex medical needs and lead organisation-wide quality assurance and improvement initiatives. This service runs during school holiday periods, excluding Christmas and New Year, (Monday–Thursday) providing care for children aged 5-18 years based at Oaklands School, Edinburgh. This service is registered with the Care Inspectorate, and we are looking for an individual to assume the role of Registered Manager.
