An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Team Leader to join a well-established care provider known for delivering high-quality residential support for young people within a nurturing, well-structured environment.
As a Senior Team Leader, you will provide day-to-day leadership within a residential setting, supporting staff, maintaining care standards, safeguarding children, and ensuring smooth operational delivery.
This role offers a salary range of £33,300 - £35,000 plus £55 per sleep ins and benefits.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading, motivating and supporting a team to deliver high-quality care
- Allocating tasks and ensuring effective shift coordination
- Providing supervision, guidance and performance feedback to staff
- Overseeing daily operations and escalating issues where required
- Supporting staff development through coaching and mentoring
- Promoting positive behaviour support approaches within the home
- Ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed at all times
- Supporting compliance with health & safety and risk management processes
What we are looking for
- Previously worked as a Senior Team Leader, Residential Support Worker, Care Team leader, Keyworker, Childcare Worker or in a similar role
- Level 4 Children, Young People & Families Practitioner (Residential) or equivalent
- Experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity within residential care
- Flexible, resilient approach with strong organisational skills
- Commitment to high standards of care and professional practice
