Are you an experienced Senior Site Manager with a strong background in timber frame residential construction? We are seeking a driven, hands-on professional to lead the delivery of a 70-unit timber frame housing development on the Kent coast.
This is an exciting opportunity to take full site responsibility for a high-quality coastal scheme from superstructure through to completion, working with an established developer known for delivering thoughtfully designed homes.
The Role
As Senior Site Manager, you will:
Take full operational control of a 70-plot timber frame housing project
Manage day-to-day site activities, ensuring programme, quality, and safety targets are met
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
Oversee timber frame installation and sequencing
Maintain strict adherence to Health & Safety regulations
Conduct regular progress meetings and report to senior management
Ensure homes are delivered to a high standard, on time and within budget
Manage NHBC inspections and handovers
Requirements
Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager on residential developments (50+ units)
Strong experience delivering timber frame housing projects
Valid SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid certification
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Strong knowledge of NHBC standards and UK Building Regulations
Ability to manage programmes and drive productivity
