Senior Residential Support Worker (OFSTED Children's Residential Home)
Salary package of £31,000 – £33,000 excluding sleep-in allowance (dependent on experience and qualifications).

About the Role
Our client is looking for a committed and resilient Senior Residential Support Worker to play a key role in supporting young people with EBD at their children's home located in Hertfordshire (HP3). You will act as a role model and take the lead in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, child-centred care.
Candidate will possess a good understanding of OFSTED regulations and compliance requirements, along with experience of working at a children's home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to children and young people in line with their individual care plans.
- Lead shifts and support the team with guidance, mentoring and supervision.
- Promote a safe, nurturing and structured environment.
- Contribute to care planning, risk assessments, and key working sessions.
- Support with staff induction and training.
- Ensure safeguarding procedures are consistently followed.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare – desirable.
- Minimum 2 years' experience working in a residential childcare setting.
- Strong communication and team leadership skills.
- A sound understanding of safeguarding and therapeutic approaches to care.
- Full UK driving licence – desirable.

Hours:
- 37.5 hours; Full-Time
- Shift work including weekends, evenings and nights plus sleep-ins (separate sleep-in rate)
