Senior Children's Residential Care Worker
Location: Stoke-on-Trent & Newcastle-under-Lyme
Salary: £29,000 – £30,400 (including sleep-ins)
Hours: Full-Time | Permanent | 40 hours per week (173 hours per calendar month including sleep-ins)
As a Senior Care Worker, you’ll be a key part of the home’s leadership, helping to shape the care provided to children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) and complex needs. You’ll act as a role model to junior staff, help oversee day-to-day operations, and ensure the best outcomes for the children in your care. Work is based across homes in Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-under-Lyme.
Previously worked as a Residential Support Worker, Support Worker, Childcare Worker, Residential, Children, care worker.
NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People (or equivalent)
Experience in children’s residential care
A strong understanding of EBD and challenging behaviours
Full UK Driving Licence
A passion for providing exceptional care and safeguarding
Commitment to values of empathy, trust, honesty, integrity, and compassion
Right to work in the UK is essential.
