A well-established contractor operating within the social housing sector is seeking Senior Quantity Surveyors to support long-term planned maintenance frameworks across London and the South East.
These are contractor-side roles managing high-value, open-book frameworks delivering mixed internal, external and M&E works. The positions are growth hires within an established commercial team and offer long-term stability, clear structure, and progression to Managing QS / Commercial Manager level.
Key Responsibilities
- Contractor-side commercial management of planned maintenance projects
- Cash flow forecasting, cost reporting, valuations and final accounts
- Claims management, variation recovery and delay analysis
- Subcontractor procurement and supply chain management
- Open-book reconciliation and commercial governance
- Managing multiple projects concurrently
- Leading, mentoring and developing junior QSs and assistants
- Client-facing commercial management and reporting
- Identifying and closing scope and pricing gaps

- Framework turnover: £15m–£20m per annum

About You
- Strong contractor-side planned maintenance experience (essential)
- Social housing framework experience required
- Confident managing multiple projects independently
- Strong commercial skills across claims, variations and forecasting
- Advanced Excel and cost reporting capability
- Experience mentoring or managing junior QSs
- Proactive, adaptable and commercially minded
Qualifications
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
- RICS accreditation desirable but not essential
