A leading specialist joinery and interior fit-out contractor with a reputation for excellence and innovation is seeking a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the commercial aspects of high-value projects, working closely with the project teams to ensure successful delivery and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the financial management of multiple high-end projects


• Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost plans


• Value and agree on the costs of variations with clients and contractors


• Produce accurate monthly cost, value, and reconciliation reports


• Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers


• Ensure all commercial and contractual risks are identified and managed


• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget


• Provide regular financial reports and updates to senior management


• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices

Requirements:

• Third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field


• Extensive experience in a senior-level quantity surveying role, ideally within the construction, joinery, or fit-out sectors


• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills


• Proven track record of managing multiple high-value projects from start to finish


• Excellent communication and leadership skills


• Proficient in using industry-standard software and IT packages


• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
