Job Title: Senior Electrical Project Manager 

Location: Central London 

About the company:

A top Tier 1, family owned, M&E contractor who specialise in delivery large M&E installation projects from £10m - £80m. 

They require several seasoned Senior Electrical Project Managers to join their team to be involved in live and forthcoming projects across the commercial office, life science, data centre, education and healthcare spaces. Projects programmes range up to 3 years.

Role Overview:

The Senior Electrical Project Manager will lead the Electrical team and play a crucial role in overseeing Electrical installations from design phase through to completion.

Your responsibilities will include project planning, resource allocation, cost management, and ensuring timely delivery. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, and clients, to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Budget Management: Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets, including profit margins, preliminary costs, and procurement expenses.


• Program Implementation: Create detailed project schedules and programs to enable accurate progress monitoring and reporting.


• Resource Management: Secure and allocate the necessary resources to effectively and efficiently deliver the project or scheme.


• Professional Delivery: Ensure successful project completion within specified constraints while maintaining a professional approach.


• Quality Plan Development: Implement and oversee the creation of the Project Quality Plan and Trade Quality Plans.


• Defect Rectification: Manage procedures for identifying and addressing defects.


• Project Handover: Ensure a successful and seamless handover of the project, providing support to the customer or end user throughout the process

Requirements: 

• Recognised qualification or time served experience in Electrical, Building Services or M&E Engineering 


• Proven track record of delivering sizeable installation projects 


• Excellent communication skilled 


• A problem solving, can do attitude
