Senior Mechanical Engineer – Birmingham (Hybrid)
A global building services consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their Birmingham team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects including commercial, heritage, healthcare, data centres, and major developments within a supportive and well-structured environment.
You’ll be based in a modern working environment with hybrid flexibility, collaborating with an experienced team to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
The Role
Deliver mechanical design across multidisciplinary projects
Produce high-quality technical outputs (calculations, specifications, drawings, schedules)
Support project delivery, coordination, and resourcing
Work closely with clients and project teams
Contribute to mentoring junior engineers
About You
Degree qualified in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
Working towards or already Chartered (CIBSE, IMechE, or similar)
Consultancy experience in mechanical building services design
Strong knowledge of HVAC and building services systems
Good understanding of UK regulations and sustainable design
