Senior Mechanical Design Engineer-Kings Cross: £50-60k

We are currently working with a multi-disciplinary, award-winning consultancy, who work specifically into the future of engineering. They are looking to expand their team and take on Senior Mechanical Design Engineers.

They hold a ‘Design to Value’ approach where the future of our environment is taken into much consideration when designing for their projects. They currently employ over 300 engineers (60 MEP) across 8 offices across Europe. Sectors include Mission Critical, Commercial, Pharma, Aviation, Education, Residential and Hospitality.

On offer for the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer is a salary of up to £60k + the below:

• 9 day working fortnight (non-compressed hours, having every other Friday as an extra day’s leave without any salary impact)


• Private health care scheme

• Hybrid working (2 days in the office)


• 25 days initial annual leave


• Regular performance reviews to support career progression

Key duties of the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer:

• Engage in all mechanical design adding your unique approach to the project.


• Responsible for mentoring and managing junior engineers.


• Attend project meetings so that all design is performed accurately and correctly.


• Conduct project surveys which can be provided to project leaders, assisting with the project flow.


• Take responsibility for specific areas of design and project development.


• Continually improve standards and quality of designs to achieve successful design and delivery of projects.


• Work closely with junior team members to share experience and provide excellent advice.
