Senior Events Manager, Belfast, £33k + excellent benefits & package
We are working with an excellent hotel chain, who are currently recruiting for a Senior Events Manager to lead their Hotel Events Team.
In this role you will be –
- Leading events and ensuring efficient operation of conferences and bookings
- Communicating with relevant managers regarding client requirements, and updating the food and beverages team, as well as amending weekly function sheets
- Liaise with customers daily – face to face, via phone, email and website
- Contributing to sales targets / budgets through cold and warm calling, upselling and increasing revenue
- Create reports for Business Development Meetings and have good working knowledge of business, and current trends in sectors such as weddings, functions and conferences, as well as providing input for future reference and activities
- Using feedback to ensure quality standards and continual improvement
- Ensure all Events employees receive appropriate training and coaching
- Ensure guest satisfaction
You will need –
- Excellent communication, numeracy and IT skills
- Previous sales, events and management experience
- Customer care / services skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Team player
