Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer – Building Services

Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking to take the next step in your career with a leading global consultancy? We’re working with a well-established multidisciplinary consultancy in the heart of London that is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic Building Services team.

The Role:

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and delivery of electrical systems across a wide range of sectors including commercial, residential, education, healthcare, and mixed-use developments. You’ll lead project teams, mentor junior engineers, and liaise with clients to ensure best-in-class solutions are delivered from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage electrical design for projects across all RIBA stages

Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, both in-house and external

Prepare drawings, specifications, and reports using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Amtech

Conduct site inspections and attend client and design meetings

Contribute to business development and proposal writing when needed

Mentor and guide junior and intermediate engineers

About You:

Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services

Chartered or working towards CEng status (IET or CIBSE)

Proven experience in building services consultancy (minimum 5–7 years)

Strong technical knowledge of UK standards and regulations

Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and relevant calculation software

Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills
