Key duties of the Senior Electrical Design Engineer:

• Develop and deliver electrical and electronic system designs for buildings and infrastructure as part of a multidisciplinary design team.


• Understand BS 7671, IEC standards, and electrical safety regulations in mission critical environments.


• Proficient with Dialux and/or Relux software.


• Proficient with Trimble/Amtech and/or ElectricalOM software.


• Required: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, building services engineers or equivalent.


• Chartership or actively working towards it.


• Support and mentor junior engineers.


• Good understanding RIBA/BSRIA design and construction stages.


• Work on design&build projects, collaborating with contractors to ensure efficient project delivery.


• Work on sustainable electrical design, including energy efficiency, renewable integration and low-carbon strategies for data centres and infrastructure.


• Work on the design and construction of data centres, mission critical facilities, infrastructure projects and large scale industrial facilities.
