Senior Civil Engineer – Drainage & Flood Risk

Are you an experienced Civil Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? My client, a leading engineering consultancy with a strong pipeline of infrastructure and development projects, is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their growing London office.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and deliver detailed designs for surface and foul water drainage systems, including SuDS (Sustainable Drainage Systems).
Prepare and review Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) in line with current planning policy and guidance.
Produce high-quality technical documentation and support planning submissions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, local authorities, and regulators.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.
Requirements:
A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Proven experience in drainage design and SuDS for residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
Expertise in preparing Flood Risk Assessments.
Proficiency in Civil 3D and MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage is essential.
Good knowledge of UK design standards, legislation, and planning requirements.
Chartered or working toward chartership with ICE or CIWEM (preferred).
