Role Overview

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within OCS for a front of house Security Officer, who will work at our client’s premises.

This role is pivotal to the success of the building operation as this person will act as the front of house for the management team.

The successful applicant will have experience of working in a reception environment and be well practiced in dealing with clients both over the telephone and in face-to-face situations.

We require officers to be SIA licenced – Security Guarding/Door Supervision

Key Responsibilities:

As an ambassador for us, you will be responsible for welcoming and recording all visitors and guests at the site in a highly professional and efficient manner.
You will ensure that all visitors are made to feel special and experience an outstanding welcome to the site.
To meet and greet all visitors promptly, using the correct protocols to ensure that each visitor feels special and cared for
Ensure that an exceptional level of service is always maintained in reception areas and meeting suites, including contacting the meeting hosts
Build and maintain a current, working knowledge of all policies, procedures, systems, and developments, as well as general information, to be able to provide staff and visitors with information as required
Ensure that the telephone is answered in a timely and professional manner and transferred to the appropriate personnel or message are taken
To maintain close working relationships with the relevant Building Management team and to coordinate efforts

About You:

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
SIA Door Supervisor License is essential.
CCTV License is ideal.
Excellent verbal communication.
Analytical thinking.
Conflict Management training.
Efficient and organised.
Forward-thinking with a strong initiative.
Understanding of technology and systems.
A valid Frontline SIA
First Aid certificate
Previous experience in a similar role
Must have excellent customer service skills
Have knowledge of Assignment Instructions (AI’s)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Customer/Client focused
Must be able to work under pressure
Basic computer literacy required
