Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm | Mix of office-based and on-site responsibilities



Are you an experienced leader in health and social care ready to take the next step? We’re recruiting for a Residential Manager to lead a supported living service in Downpatrick. This is an excellent opportunity to manage a dedicated team while ensuring individuals receive high-quality, person-centred support in a safe and well-managed environment.



We’re looking for someone with a solid background in care management who can lead with confidence, encourage team development, and maintain strong operational standards. You’ll combine effective leadership with a compassionate approach, ensuring residents are supported to live as independently as possible.

Key Responsibilities:




  • Work alongside the Deputy Manager to ensure the service runs efficiently

  • Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and standards

  • Oversee safer recruitment processes, including necessary checks and registrations

  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels and skill mix to meet service user needs

  • Lead by example on the floor, promoting high-quality support practices

  • Support staff through supervision, appraisals, and ongoing development

  • Foster a positive, safe, and person-centred culture



 



About You:




  • At least 1 year’s experience as a Deputy Manager (or similar) within a care or supported living setting

  • Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
